Quick No Yeast Pizza

Ingredients

75g plain flour

1 tsp (5ml) baking powder

½ tsp salt (2.5ml)

75ml Greek yoghurt

Quick No Yeast Pizza

Method

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 220C/205C fan/gas mark 9 and put a baking tray into the oven to get hot.
  2. Mix the flour with the baking powder and salt as before. Add the yogurt and press it into the flour with the back of a wooden spoon until the dough begins to come together, adding a little extra yoghurt if necessary.
  3. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured work surface, and knead briefly for a minute or so with your hands until smooth enough to roll out.
  4. Squeeze the dough into a ball with your hands, then use a rolling pin to roll it into a circle roughly 20cm in diameter(mine turned out rather square, as you can see!)
  5. Spread the tomato sauce over the base.
  6. Add some toppings: I used sliced onions, red pepper and cheddar cheese (I didn’t have any mozzarella, which would have been better).
  7. Move the pizza carefully onto the hot tray and bake for 8-10 minutes, until the edges are browning and the cheese is melted.
